Export Data from Work Queue

Feature : You can export data from the Work Queue to a .csv file using the Exportfeature. This feature is available to anyone who has permission to work with the work queue. When selecting the export button, the current filtered data will be exported to a CSV. This is a synchronous action, so the user will see a confirmation box warning that large data sets can take a while to generate. The user can choose to proceed or cancel the job.
Importance : Many clients have requested some basic reporting needs. Rather than building a complex reporting tool, we found that many scenarios could be solved simply by allowing them to export the filtered data displayedon their work queue to a CSV.
Prerequisite: Work Queue refresh feature is active

Allow panel designer to update panels with multiple locales
Feature: The panel editor now supports custom panel text configuration for all active locales directly in the UI. Means that, you can translate labels language into other language while configuring a panel. This enhancement applies to custom panels only.
Importance: We don’t need export and import xml to configure localized text in panel. All custom panel translations can be updated directly in panel designer it selfand previewed.

Feature : With this enhancement, you can now re-assign a new hire activity separately from the original activity. An email notification is sent by default to the person the activity has been re-assigned to.
Importance : While research shows that the Hiring Manager involvement is key to new hire success, there are times whenthe HM activities should be assigned to another user – matrix organizations, LOAs, etc. ✔A new checkbox has been introduced when re-assigning an activity. If checked, the new hire activity for that candidate is also re-assigned to the new user. Previously, both would be reassigned ✔The New Hire activity can also be re-assigned separately by the new re-assign option for notifications. ✔Any notification that appears on the Work Queue can now be re-assigned in this manner. ✔For any N1 notification (standard Onboarding, Custom Onboarding, Crossboarding), it is mandatory to specify the post controller as KMS.XpressHR.BLL.SF.NewHireActivitiesPostStepController, XpressHR.BLL.SF ✔An audit trail entry, with the tag NOTIF_REASSIGN, is made when an notification is reassigned. ✔Notification to be sent to new assignee is available but OPT-IN to be consistent with current behavior.
Panel UI Refresh

Feature : The UI of the Onboarding panels have now been made fiori-like and more user friendly, making it consistent with the rest of the HCM suite. The panels with the new UI include the Onboarding process panels, standard SAP panels, User Defined panels and the Compliance panels. The updated panel UI is available only for the SuccessFactors HCM customers and not legacy customers. If using the updated UI, preview mode in the panel designer will show updated UI.
Importance : Cleaner, more inviting UI for panel work in Onboarding. Consistent with Fiori user experience across the suite.
Prerequisite: Admin opt-in under Onboardingsettings.

New Homepage (HP3) Available for Onboarding Customers
Type: Opt-In
Feature: Onboarding tiles have been available on HP3 since 1605. With 1611, Platform has taken over the Tour functionality and delivered it as a general framework. Onboarding tour capabilities are available in this framework. With this, all ONB content currently available in the V12 homepage is now available in HP3.
Importance: Onboarding customers who wish to use the new homepage functionality can now switch without losing Onboarding capabilities.
Prerequisites: – Enable New Homepage and Tour Framework in Upgrade Center. – Existing homepage content configuration is maintained where possible, but some additional configuration steps may be required. Please see Homepage Administration and Onboarding Guidesfor more information

An OData API has been developed to extract the Onboarding or Offboarding data from each step.

Bulk or batch processing is an option.
All onboarding data dictionary fields can be pulled.
Specific data points per step can be pulled.
API is for extracting data only, there is no create or update (UPSERT) capability

Feature: The ability to use New Hire Activities with a crossboarding process and no Onboarding steps to complete.
Importance: Employees need the same strategic experience during crossboarding as they did during their Onboarding. Now you can create a crossboarding process without the paperwork. Giving your employee the same start that made them successful as a new hire.
Prerequisites: – Custom crossboarding activity using EC transfer event . – Intelligent Services provisioning switch enabled. – Onboarding MDF based New Hire Activity enabled – Requires an engagement with PS or a partner to configure a custom process for New Hire Activities.

Importance: Documents can be signed directly in DocuSign using a desktop web browser or a mobile device. Signatures tied to email notifications are supported.

Prerequisites :An employee portal link on the Congratulations page that displays after the employee paperwork has been signed.
EmployeePortal.SSOAuthFromApplicantPage = False, will be the default.
Now – When set to false the employee must use their password to access the employee portalafter the paperwork has been signed. Previously – The employee could click the Employee Portal link on the Congratulations page and be taken directly to the Employee Portal, no password required
7. Temporary ID Can Equal Employee ID
.Type: Provisioning opt-In Feature: Honorable mention for an update by Employee Central. The ability for the temporary. IDto remain as the Employee ID when using the pre day 1 scenario. Importance : Many of our clients have requested a way to access the employee ID prior to the onboardee paperwork being completed. The employee ID is used by other systems to create thingslike email and used for ordering laptops and phones for onboardees before theyarrive. Prerequisites : Employee Central Pre day 1 scenario enabled
8. Onboarding to Employee Central Future Date Activated
.Type: Provisioning opt-out Feature: Update Onboarding to not change employee status when Onboarding and Manage Pending Hires. page is complete. Importance : The challenge – Onboardee completes Onboarding. User completes Manage Pending Hire section prior to the Onboardee start date. Onboarding would update the Employee Central status to Active. Even prior to their start date. Onboarding should not force the status change. Allow the Employee Central user report to run that updates employee status to Active on their start date. Resolution – A provisioning option was added to not allow Onboarding to change the status. The default is now ‘False’ for all Onboarding to Employee Central accounts EXCEPT those with pre day 1 enabled. Prerequisites : Onboarding to Employee Central without pre day 1 feature enabled. Assumes Employee Central user sync file is enabled. No pre day 1 enabled.
