The data from Continuous Performance Management (CPM) can be enabled, by an administrator, to be used for an employee’s Growth Portfolio in the Talent Intelligence Hub.
The Talent Intelligence Hub is a centralized framework that connects individual attributes, strengths & styles, and expressive preferences to both people and the experiences throughout SAP SuccessFactors solutions. This framework enables organizations to understand and manage their workforce holistically while supporting excellence and growth aspirations of their people. Activities, Achievements, and Feedback in Continuous Performance Management (CPM) are typically a reflection of the work an employee is doing and can be used as a means of inferring the skills that an employee may have. As more employees continue to build a portfolio of activities, achievements, and feedback, it’s likely they’re acquiring new skills that may not otherwise be captured.
The administrator can allow this CPM data to be used by the Talent Intelligence Hub by selecting the Allow Continuous Performance Management data to be used to support skills inferencing in Talent Intelligence Hub checkbox in the Continuous Performance Management Configuration view.
Remember:
The option to select in the Continuous Performance Management Configuration view is only shown if you’ve implemented the Talent Intelligence Hub and enabled Growth Portfolio.
The CPM data makes it easier for employees to populate and maintain their personal profile of skills, competencies, and other attributes in the Growth Portfolio.
