DPP Features as relating to Compensation

  •  Allows you to pull information report for a user showing information such as Award amount, comment, currency etc.
  • RBP Permission required “Enable Information on Data Subject” to access Data Subject Information tool

Data Subject Information – Compensation/Variable Pay

  • You might need to report on personal data which is stored within the SAP SuccessFactors Suite for a specific data subject.
  • For Comp, in Q4 2017, we provided a tool that allows you to “View User Personal Statements” from Compensation Admin.
  • This allows customers to control the information they would like to share with the employees regarding compensation and variable pay.

Read Access Logging

  • All Talent data about a data subject is personal data. Sensitive personal data in Employee profile and
used in Talent processes will be hidden from user interfaces, APIs and reporting, when read access
    logging feature is turned on.
Following user information(User Info) fields are pre-classified as Sensitive Personal data in Employee Profile
whereas Background elements can be classified as sensitive using business configuration
  • Gender, Ethnicity, Minority, Nationality, SSN, Veteran Disabled, Veteran Medal, Veteran Protected, Veteran
    Separated
  • Sensitive personal data will be hidden in Performance & 360 forms, Compensation statements, Calibration
session, Succession planning, Talent Card and Mentoring, whereas read access logging will be supported when
SPD is accessed from People profile.

Read access logging - Compensation

  • In Compensation, you could pull some sensitive information from employee profile onto statements, for example – Gender.
  • Once the Read Access Logging is enabled such information will not be pulled on the statements.
  • Imp Note – This feature only impacts the statements generated after turning on the Read Access Logging switch. In case, you have personal sensitive information on the statements you can recall those statements and generate new ones again.

Change logging

  • You might need to report on changes to personal data:
      • Changes made on a specific data subject
      • Changes made by a specific user
  • The Change Log Report will cover all changes to personal data in the format “Before Value” “After Value”. Additional context information will be provided depending on the functional sub area to explain the context of a change.
  1. Search Data Subject

2. Generate change audit Report

Enabling Change Logging

Personal Data Audit – for GDPR. Select fields from select tables. General Audit – Comprehensive Audit. All fields from select tables (except excluded columns)

Copy Eligibility Rules

  • What is it?

Admins can now choose to clone the eligibility rules while using Copy Plan Template feature

  • Why is it important?

Currently, admins have to recreate the eligibility rules manually in each new template. If you have a number of eligibility rules, this could mean a lot of time spent on repetitive work. Also, the manual process could result in some unforced errors.

Stock fields in SuccessStore Statement Template

  • What is it?
Standard stock fields such as “stockCompRating”, “stockUnits”, “stockGrantDate” etc were not available for display on the statements via the SuccessStore statement template. With this release, we have added support for these fields in SuccessStore statement template editor.

In addition, a number of performance optimizations have been done for statement generation job

  • Why is it important?
Customers using SuccessStore statements to communicate LTI information had to previously create custom fields which were copy of standard fields to communicate the same information.

Granular RBP Permissions available via Upgrade Center

  • What is it?
Granular RBP Permissions each Compensation admin page to be permissioned separately. Previously, this feature required engaging Cloud Support and Data Center teams to be enabled. Now, you can enable this via Upgrade Center.

  • Why is it important?
This allows you to exercise finer control on which admins get access to different compensation areas. This is especially beneficial for large organizations where different people may be responsible for managing eligibility, guidelines, statements etc.

Performance Improvement for YouCalc widgets

What is it?
Performance on the YouCalc widgets on Executive Review has been improved, but certain limitations have been
added to the existing behavior

  • The upperbound on the number of employees loaded for YouCalc is set to 50000. You can control the number of YouCalc entries loaded via “Advanced Settings”, but if a number greater than 50000 is entered that would be ignored. Default value for this setting is 1000, and should not be changed unless necessary.

  • Non-reportable custom fields of compensation entries are not supported in YouCalc widget now. If any of this field is configured, there willbe unexpected behavior on youcalc widget, like: blank data, inconsistency between worksheet and executive review, etc.

In addition, a number of performance improvements have been made to help loading YouCalc faster

    Why is it important?

  • To improve the performance of Executive Review, especially when a large number of employees are available.
Previously, the YouCalc widget would slow the performance of Executive Review load overall.
